G&M Auto Repair, Service and Transmission is seeking an experienced fulltime auto mechanic/technician to grow with our family owned and operated independent shop located in Bellevue Washington. We work on a variety of vehicles from modern Europeans to American classics and all foreign and domestics. We are offering $25-$30 per hour D.O.E. plus 401K, 2 weeks of paid vacation per year and 7 paid holidays off per year starting after the 90 day probationary period.

Basic Requirements

-High School diploma/GED

-Valid Driver License.

-Clean 3yr driving record with no major issues.

-Own set of tools.

-5 years experience in the profession.

-Courteous and work well with others.

-Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Technician Responsibilities

-Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight/taillight installations.

– Maintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair

-Conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations

-Conduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundness

-Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for both the customer and for our records
